While many of us have enjoyed streams and broadcasts of our favourite theatre shows during the pandemic, it’s fair to say that there’s no substitute for live entertainment.

So our Drama and Dance students are delighted to be able to return to the theatre this term. Last week, Year 11 travelled to the West End to watch the incomparable The Play That Goes Wrong. This coming Tuesday, Year 12 and 13 are at the Maltings Theatre in St Albans, where the superb OVO Productions are staging Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler.

Later this term, there are trips planned to the National Theatre for The Ocean at the End of the Lane and Sadler’s Wells for The Nutcracker.

And, of course, live theatre will be returning to Queenswood in December, as we stage our whole school production of Jane Eyre. Information about how you can purchase tickets will be released very soon.
